What is stone floor?

Simply put, it is a PVC sheet made by extruding marble powder from the production line of stone plastic floor and pressing it at high temperature. The surface is covered with wood grain paper, giving it the same appearance as the wood floor, but it has nothing to do with wood in essence. At present, there are three common stone plastic floors on the market: SPC, WPC and LVT. The corresponding use scenarios are also different. SPC stone plastic flooring mainly focuses on home decoration, while WPC is high-end and LVT is cost-effective.

What are the advantages of stone plastic flooring!

1. High environmental protection performance. This is mainly for the wooden floor in our home. Because the main raw material of stone plastic flooring is actually natural stone powder. These stone powders are not allowed to contain any radioactive elements, and those containing pollutants are also not allowed to be used. The surface layer is PVC coating, and there is no pollution release. Stone plastic flooring is a product that has obtained the international green environmental protection certification.

2. Good wear resistance. Because no matter we choose wood floor or ceramic tile, we should consider its wear-resistant performance. If it is not wear-resistant and the surface is easy to wear, the effect will be very good. And the stone plastic floor has very excellent conductive performance at this point. Because the stone plastic floor has a layer of transparent wear-resistant layer with special treatment, the number of revolutions of the wear-resistant layer can reach 30000 according to the test data. For example, our traditional laminate flooring is only 13000 revolutions, and the better one is 20000 revolutions. The transformation of the wear-resistant layer on the surface of the graphite stone floor is very high. Therefore, the wear resistance is very strong and the service life is also very high. In fact, some public areas are still used more.

3. The surface is elastic and impact resistant. As we all know, ceramic tiles have no elasticity on the surface, so they are rigid and not very comfortable to walk on. Wood floor has certain elasticity, but it is not as good as stone plastic floor as stone plastic floor. Therefore, the stone plastic floor is also called the soft gold of floor materials. Another point is that the stone plastic floor will not have any problems even if there is an impact of objects on the ground, that is, its impact resistance is very good.

4. More excellent anti-skid performance. In fact, anti-skid performance is a very critical factor for us to choose indoor floor pavement materials. If the ground material is not anti-skid, it will be very uncomfortable to use later. Compared with the traditional tiles and floors, the stone plastic floor has a higher anti-skid performance, because the wear-resistant layer on the surface of the stone plastic floor has a special anti-skid function. After encountering water, it will be more wet and astringent, and it is not easy to slip. This feature also determines that the stone plastic floor is very suitable for use in our bathroom.

5. Thinner. The thickness of stone plastic floor is very thin. As we see now, the stone plastic floor may be only 2~3mm thick. As we all know, if it is a floor tile, it must be at least seven or eight millimeters. This has led to the very light weight of the stone plastic floor, such as two to three kilograms per square meter, which is about 10% of the conventional floor materials. Therefore, it is more reasonable to use it in buildings.
